Mic Night3–10 PLAYERS · 5 ROUNDS · ABOUT 15 MINUTES
Three to ten friends. One mic. One very opinionated MC.
Everybody gets
one line.
A prompt drops. Everyone at the table writes one line, then everyone votes — blind — for the funniest one that isn’t theirs. The MC heckles the reveal and hands out awards at the end. Five rounds. No hiding.
Five rounds. One winner. Zero mercy.
01
Everyone writes
The prompt names two of you. Each player writes one line, up to 100 characters. Nobody sees anyone else’s yet.
02
Everyone votes
The lines land on your screen without names. Pick the funniest — you can’t vote for your own.
03
The MC reveals
Authors, votes, a crown for the round’s winner, and one line from the MC that nobody asked for.
House rules
- One line per round, up to 100 characters. Nobody sees it until the vote.
- Every vote is anonymous — forever. The room never shows who voted for whom.
- A vote is worth 1 point. Winning the round is worth 2 more. Voting for the winner earns 1 for taste.
- The MC never competes. It heckles the reveal and closes the night with one award per player.
- The host can close writing or voting early when someone is thinking too hard.
